Oslo and related destinations
Between fjord and forest, Oslo serves up Nordic cool without the attitude. The Oslo Opera House rises like an iceberg from the harbor, inviting visitors to walk on its sloping marble roof. At the Viking Ship Museum, thousand-year-old vessels tell tales of seafaring warriors with surprising elegance. The Vigeland Sculpture Park displays over 200 bronze and granite figures in various states of human emotion – all created by one obsessive artist. Aker Brygge's waterfront restaurants offer fresh seafood with views that showcase why locals treasure their brief summer evenings. In winter, the Oslo Ski Center transforms the city into a place where office workers casually strap on skis after meetings. The royal palace sits with democratic modesty at the end of Karl Johans Gate, where cafés serve irresistible cardamom buns.

Karl Johan Hotel
"Location was great. Free breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend staying there."
Comfort Hotel Xpress Central Station
"Clean room, quiet, could check in early for a small fee. Pleasant staff."
Citybox Oslo
"Nice, clean, modern hotel in a great location. Perfect for our short city break. Our room overlooked a tram stop, which was very convenient but may disturb light sleepers."
Sommerro
"A very nice hotel close to the waterfront area and downtown Oslo. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel. Room was very nice. We had a junior suite. Still amd sparkling water dispensers are available on each floor. Dining options are plenty as they have 5 restaurants on site. Breakfast is pretty good as well. My only complaint t is that it was at times difficult to contact guest services."
Clarion Hotel The Hub
"Great hotel Best breakfast l ever had ! Great Location"
Hotel Verdandi Oslo
"For half the price we had half the room size. The economy room was very small but had the essentials. It was perfect for a night sleep. The bed was comfortable and it was very clean. We did not eat at the hotel. It is self check in but there was a staff member in the restaurant ready to help when I had a problem and again when I had a question. The hotel was very convenient to downtown sites and the Central Station. We had no noise. My only negative was that I wish I had packed a sleep mask. Since the bed was near the window there was more light than I wanted. If all you want is a night’s sleep it was perfect."
Bunks at Rode
"It was perfect for our family. It was convenient to have the grocery store next door."
Kampen Hotel
"Friendly staff great service. Nice balcony, relaxed views, tidy room. Tøyen T-bane very close by easy access to all of Oslo"
Comfort Hotel Grand Central
"Perfect location would stay there again"
