We had a great stay at Manor House! It is a perfect convenient location if you’re catching the Scrabster ferry. The rooms were spacious and clean. The property is family run and they were wonderful people! We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and they offered breakfast as well with both continental and a full Scottish hot breakfast options to choose from.

This is a good place to stay, clean, comfortable, very friendly and attentive staff and good food. I booked 4 rooms for my family who were traveling to attend my daughters wedding, all concerned were very handy with their stay. You are well looked after at this hotel.

Vårt rum var väldigt smutsigt vid ankomst, upplevdes som att det inte var städat mellan gästerna. Personalen var däremot trevlig och varmt välkomnande

An affordable en-suite room in a good location, sorted me out when I missed the ferry! Good food (especially the breakfast), friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed, decent shower. Easy parking just opposite. My only criticism is that the section of the building I was in had *really* loud plumbing. If somebody nearby uses the tap, or flushes the loo, you know about it, and I can see this being a problem for light sleepers. I'd come back here again.

We loved this family run hotel! Leo and Mary Ellen were welcoming and helpful, including getting us a taxi to the ferry early in the morning. We ate dinner here one night and it was excellent- local lamb chops and steak pie and chips. I’d highly recommend Manor House if you want a smaller hotel with personal service. We stayed in the main building .

Parking was easy though roadside. Near to town center so lot of dinner options. Felt safe enough , at least in daylight. Walked back at 9:00 p.m. from dinner. Good for one night.

The rooms were fine, very clean although the bathroom a bit tight. Parking was easy, just across the road. Breakfast was very good, made to order. Dinner in the restaurant was incredible - really excellent - I highly recommend enjoying a meal there!!

My room was quite large with a lovely view from all the windows! The manager/owner was very friendly and so appreciative of our visit. A big plus was also being able to get a nice dinner in the cute pub after a very busy day on a Rabbie’s tour. It was a nice homey change from a typical hotel room.

The place is undergoing some major bedroom renovations and although our newly renovated bedroom was basic it was very clean with a new ensuite which had a very powerful shower. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bar area is used by locals who were very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to visit. The breakfast is cooked to order from fresh quality produce. Great location, very easy and plentiful parking, good value for money

Owner/staff were very pleasant. Food is good. Room was very poor - small, hard bed with worn sheets and terrible pillows. Overall, hotel seems run down.
