This was one of our favourite stops on the NC500 drive. Craig and Heather are excellent hosts as well as being in charge of a great kitchen, both for dinner and breakfast. Straty Beach was a highlight of our trip and is easily accessible from the hotel. Highly recommend this place.

The Strathy Inn is the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying with friends - extremely hospitable ones! It doesn’t look much from the outside and is not in one of the bigger villages but the rooms are very clean, cosy and comfortable and have everything you need. The bed was one of the best we’ve slept in on our trip around North Scotland. Meals are also home cooked and delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Very good. Clean room and ensuite with a convenient bar and restaurant next door, with an option to reserve a table for dinner. The proprietors normally lock the front door at 11pm so have this in mind if you're out chasing very late sunsets!

Easy to find as located on the main road through Strathy. This is a small b&b adjoining a small bar - both run by the owners. Sufficient parking at the front of the property. Room was immaculate with a lovely ensuite. Breakfast needed to be preordered which wasn’t an issue for us. Lovely breakfast included all freshly prepared. Hosts very accommodating.
