While it was reasonably priced and in an ok location to get into Toronto (short bus ride to metro) we were disappointed by the rather tired sub basement with 4 or 5 guest rooms. Main issue was miniscule single bathroom being shared by all guests. If you are prepared for that then it was acceptably clean and had small kitchen that had large shared fridge freezer but limited utensils.

If you're looking for a good bang for your buck look no further! For the price that I paid I think this is a good place to stay. I wish they left better instructions on how to enter, as I was unable to enter at all for 20 minutes before they picked up their phone and told me how it worked. Otherwise, for the price, good place.

-There is only street parking, no parking in the driveway -There are many other bedrooms adjacent to the one we rented -There were loud noises coming from the adjacent room beside us at 2:30am -There was urine on the toilet seat that the previous person had not cleaned -Found a bedbug on top of the sheets, and if there is one that means there are others which made me feel anxious about sleeping

Not a tree house

The room was not a “tree house” of any sort-it was a basement room next to a kitchen and there were three other rooms rented out so there was considerable noise in the kitchen The bathroom was tiny and when sitting on the toilet our knees hit the pipes under the sink. The stairs are very steep. Our room smelled like cats/animals had been present.

Pictures on web not what you get! It doesn’t mention it’s a shared bathroom. We left after first night and still waiting for refund. Shared bathroom with three other rooms Bathroom not as pictured on website Place was dirty Bed broke Refrigerator ( right outside our bedroom door made sound every hr that sounded like a small animal with its tail caught in the door Our room was a hot as a furnace People upstairs were very noisy ,.. tv playing till 1:30 in the morning ,.. loud voices , yelling ,.. and snoring Don’t know how we managed to sleep ,.. we were still awake at 3 a.m. Blinds in our room were ultra thin ,.. would not block out the two major street lights ,. our room did not get dark at all There was a TV , however there was only one channel to watch , n& no option for a movie Booked the room for 5 nights ,. barely made it through one night ,.. if we had a car we would have left before morning

Perhaps I hadn't properly read the conditions of the room/property but even having known we were going to have to share a bathroom , having a small room in a basement with no window is not only a fire risk but felt very claustrophobic. It was not value for money at £80 per night and I would be generous at suggesting it is worth half that to be honest.

The entrance to my room was dirty, it looked like they had never vacuumed or cleaned it. It was so noisy that I could still hear the sound of the TV at midnight. The bathroom is shared with many people and is not cleaned at all. I saw a lot of hair stuck in the bathtub. It looked extremely dirty. Not recommend at all!
