I enjoyed my stay here. It's a location tucked away from the bustle and very quiet. Within 10 minutes to Tulum Beach by car or motor bike. Breakfast is simple but filling. I'd stay here, again. It's a newer development area.

My wife and I loved everything about this place, from the staff to the property. The room, pool and jacuzzi was clean. It was walking distance to stores and the park. Plus travel by car or cab was short as it is in the center of resturant and the beach clubs. I would recoomend any one who don't rent a car to rent an atv or scooter or download the InDrive app (it like uber). 1000% recommend and will use on our next visit.

The hot tub isn’t really a hot tub because it doesn’t heat up or have engines. And the paint has fallen off in a lot of places in the tub but otherwise the room was nice and comfortable. But the main pool was nice and clean and the room was exactly like its photo. It felt safe and a very nice neighborhood as a solo traveller.

Property was beautiful, peaceful, clean, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint would be a discrepancy between what is displayed on Hotels.com and what the hotel stated about free breakfast. Could be an error on hotels.com, or the hotel not honoring what was advertising, but it's hard to know for sure. Either way, it should be more clear. I'd like to give more than 4 stars, but less than 5; however, that option is not available.

Faisano is a small cute hotel, great staff and service, perfect to relax. Safe area with restaurants, convenient stores, bike rental and spa within walking distance. There’s room for improvement in some areas tho. The open shower is cute but not convenient, the whole room gets wet every time you shower making the room smell musty. The door frame in our room had a big gap letting in sounds and ants. But it’s a cute place with great people that will help you with everything you need and make you feel home so I would recommend it.

The main pool was well maintained and enjoyable and our room was nice, however there seemed to be a number of maintenance issues throughout the hotel. The rooftop pool was not well maintained and we opted not to swim in it, there was no food or drink service (as advertised), and there were intermittent smells from the plumbing. The staff were not very friendly and information was not proactively shared (for example about beach towels, parking, etc.). We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and the expectation seemed to be that we would leave and return, with no offer to wait in the lobby, etc. We'd had a full day of travel and opted to simply wait, so after 5 minutes they decided they would check us in -- this gave the impression that they were simply being inflexible because rooms were obviously available. When we checked out, they sent someone to verify that we hadn't taken anything from the room before checking us out. The neighbourhood is under construction, it has an awkward layout, and it feels soulless. It's purpose- built for the huge influx of tourists/ex-pats therefore you can find everything you need, but it's very expensive and has a sterile atmosphere.

Newer hotel set deep into a neighborhood. Grounds were kept very clean. Free breakfast on sitr. Chilaquiles were amazing. No security(locks/keycards) to enter the hotel. Accessible to anyone who walks in the front. Room had a terrible smell of mildew. Extremely large gaps in the foor allowing bugs in. Private pool on our patio was very small (4ftx4ft). Didn't use due to the plants the were covering half of the pool and bare wires sticking out of the wall next to the pool.
