Just enjoyed a great weekend break at The Queen’s Head in Rothbury. Room was spotless and good to have a separate shower cubicle too. Plenty of sockets and a lovely light up mirror in the bathroom Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful and a super breakfast was a bonus. My only wish was a fan to cool us and the room down Would certainly recommend The Queens Head to anyone visiting Rothbury

Could do with a bit updating but saying that they have already started to update. It’s a very old building so it was expected. Beer garden was lovely and nearly finished. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice.

Stayed here as we where at a wedding not far away, hotel manager sorted our transport to and from the wedding wich I was so greatful, room very clean and bed was so so comfortable, breakfast was lovely overall lovely stay

The room appeared and bed was lovely but bathroom a little sad, also fount some rubbish from a previous guest in there The team were friendly, I didn’t manage to get the time to go to breakfast. No turn down service on the 2nd day unfortunately and tea tray was limited but had tea which was the priority.

First time in Rothbury, will visit again with partner. Good size room, very comfy bed, good food, good staff. Only one real ale but Black Sheep was a great pint.

Room and decor fabulous

The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.

"2 night stay

Stayed for 2 nights nice welcome first day. Breakfast was poor, eggs hard, bread soggy think had been prepared a while in advance. Ate in hotel first night food was fine. Second day asked for heating to be turned down as thermostats not working, then no heat at all.
