This motel is very near the bridge of lions which we crossed every day to get to historic St. Augustine. If you are in good shape, it is a pleasant walk. There is no elevator in the motel. We stayed on the second floor which was nice because we got a good breeze. The room was never dark because the porch lights were not blocked by the blinds and curtains. I wanted 2 queen beds and thought they were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. My traveling companions mentioned that the rooms were not very clean, especially the shower. There is a little refrigerator and microwave along with a Keurig coffee maker in each room, and the front desk provided bottled waters.
There is a really nice homemade, organic restaurant across the street called Soup Coop where we got chili, soups, sourdough bread and beverages every day.
The good thing about the location is that it is easy to hop in the car and go to cvs or target, the lighthouse or Anastasia park.
