Best service I have ever had, right from the start. They called me personally right after I made my reservation to make sure I had everything I wanted and when I mentioned I wanted a different night they made it happen. They even gave me an upgraded room for free! Not only did they have free coffee and cookies waiting for us when we arrived they had wine. Free parking right beside the hotel and it was right by all of the Old Town activities but on a quiet street. They sat down with us and...
Stayed at the St George many times over the last 7 years and they never disappoint. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The St George is perfectly located to all the walking attractions, eating establishment, shops and more. They offer a lovely breakfast every morning with something for everyone both hot and cold varieties plus they have their own wine bar too! . A coffee bar, a cigar shop, and a chocolate shop are located right around the center area as well. Most nights...
Great place, staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious and upscale. Unique house, clean and comfortable. Free parking on premises and perfect location for walking around the old town area. We will definitely stay here again.
The surrounding view was absolutely untouchable! Rocking chairs, a lap blanket in January, a hot coffee and watching the sun rise and set over the water is a memory you'll never forget. Did I mention the dolphins??
You will regret staying ANYWHERE ELSE.
We enjoyed the Victorian ambience of our room and the common areas. The staff was excellent and made every effort to see to our comfort. The location was excellent, within walking distance of attractions, restaurants, and shopping. We enjoyed our stay at the Pennyfarthing and would rebook a stay there without hesitation.
I celebrated my bday in St Augustine with a large party that wasn't all able to book at the Victorian House. Anthony and Marilyn, owners, offered suggestions for other accommodations. Anthony and Marilyn even invited my outside guests to have breakfast with us. Food was amazing and staff did everything they could to make you comfortable. The Victorian House is centrally located in the historic district a short walk to the water made for perfect early morning runs. We will be returning...
TJ's homemade chocolate chip cookies were the BEST! Beautiful room, gorgeous property, lovely balcony.. breakfast was just divine and delicious. Super easy walk to historic St George Street. Parking is a few blocks away but they allow luggage storage when you check in for your parking pass, and Dog Rose Brewery is right next to the lot, don't miss that place!
This was our first visit to St. Augustine and wasn't sure exactly where we wanted to stay or what we might get when we first booked this spot. What a wonderful choice it turned out to be! Nestled in the middle of the historic district, we were literally a stone's throw from the main pedistrian street of the area. All the staff was exceptionally hospitable and accomodating; the rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the morning breakfasts tasty and imaginative. We will definitely stay there...
Very nice stay with very attentive staff
Rooms are very quiet and comfortable
Great breakfast selections
Beach access close for walks !
Loved area and local restaurants
Tried at Caps Restaurant!!! Fabulous
Overall nice stay. Water pipes run through the attic so you have to run the cold water for quite a while to get any cold water. Couldn’t figure this out and first night didn’t shower. Strange.
What a beautiful room and location. Unfortunately for us, it was 45 degrees and blustery....Breakfast was more generous and tastier that the usual hotel fare. The room was very comfortable and attractive.
