had a wonderful chat with the owner's son who came to the hotel and unlock it for us! Lovely hotel & stay! Lots of history there! Be prepared for the walk upstairs 22-23 stairs and fairly narrow. Not too much of an issue. Our group of 4 really had a great stay over the 2 nights.

Funky hotel from the early 1900s. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It is right on main street and we had a noisy night with young folks drinking across the street at the Ripley Creek. No one is on the premise. You are provided with a door code and you collect your key sitting at the bedroom door. The owner was quick to respond with a query and he reached out to us a few days in advance about the sel check-in process. It was conveniently located and would not hesitate to return.

There was no staff at the hotel. Had to call a number on the door to get instructions. The building is very old and not well maintained. The floor in our bathroom was uneven and breaking. Same thing with the sink and it smelled moldy.

This hotel was retro, clean and very cool. Carry your luggage up the original wood creaky stairs 1-2 flights. Call to find out which room is yours. Seamless. Old and new wood accents. Very nice shared ‘living room’ if you’d like to use it to read, play games, watch tv or just relax and have a tea or coffee. Put your food in the shared fridge. If these walls could talk….. Definitely recommend!
