It started well, with an upgrade to a suite because someone recognized I'd be there for a week, and stayed at that level.
The suite was clean (with only a slight mouldy smell from the shower curtain a slight negative) and included everything I would need in the mini-kitchenette. I was pleased to find dishes, glassware, utensils, dishwashing soap, and a toaster, among other things. I was thrilled that I wouldn't have to go out for every meal (note: there's a coffee bar, but no breakfast buffet, so this was important - 24-hour Denny's part of the same complex, though).
The bed was so very comfortable, the TV had TSN high-def, and the pool, jacuzzi, and gym were adequate (albeit with the pool a bit difficult to find).
Being just off Route 90, the hotel is also extremely well-located in terms of access to all parts of the city west of the Red River. There's a great bar in the hotel next door, too.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat, especially for a more extended stay.
