Worst experience booking a hotel ever
Worst experience. Firstly full payment was taken out my account with out my permission because I added on a extra day stay. Was meant to pay on arrival. Lost my bank card 2 weeks before travelling but got a new one in time. Turned up with my 6 year old son and refused check in because they needed to see my old payment card even though I'd payed.after 3 hours trying to find a phone number or someone from hotel.com for help was impossible. After raised voices with hotel manager made my son cry. I was then forced to pay for the full stay in hotel again on my new card with our spending money then waited 3 day's for a refund. 3 days no money, no help, from hotel or hotel. Com. The room was the furthest away, 6 flight of stairs the lift was broken. The room was so bad condition I almost walked back out . Paint flakes whole balcony, broken bath, holes in walls, stained bedding that was so worn and old , cooked lid broken, fridge no door shelves missing freezer door, dirty room. Looked at other people's rooms and ours was so bad it looked. Like a different hotel. Purely stayed so my son didn't cry again. No phone number to speak to hotel.com. virtual assistant had no options for help with this subject. Live chat resolved nothing at all.
