We enjoyed our stay here!! We loved all the renovations and the very comfortable bed. It was cozy and just what we needed to get away in the UP for a couple nights. We will be back!

This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are absolutely spotless and the beds are really comfortable. If you like a family owned establishment instead of a large corporate chain this is the place for you. You will fall in love with the warm friendly atmosphere. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Nice small motel and rooms. Essentially just sleeping there with everything to do outside in summer. Helpful staff and outside the busy area of town. Close to casino if that's an interest. Would stay again if in the area.

Though very small, our room was clean and comfortable. The young couple who own, live the property are great.

Staff was extra friendly and helpful! We left a phone in the room at checkout and were immediately contacted when it was found. We appreciated the honesty and promptness so much!

The room and bathroom was spotless, smelled fresh and had everything you needed. We so appreciated that it wasn’t musty and didn’t smell like smoke. Bed was so comfy. The sweetest host, Hannah was helpful, personable and kind. S’mores around the fire each night was such a fun touch, we had great conversations with the other guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Great value. The room was clean and comfortable. It's a small motel that has been completely renovated. The decor is cute for the north woods. Have stayed there twice and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. The young couple working together running the business were very friendly and helpful. Small businesses definitely have my business!

An older motel but it has been updated and is extremely well kept. Everything was clean. Parking is right in front of your door. Actually had a pair of recliners in the room! And there were free s'more at the fire ring on the lawn too!

Cozy, clean room and bathroom. Rustic decor. Fire in firepit in yard at night with s’mores kit to use if wanted.
