2/10 Mediocre

The location of this property is in a very unsafe area. Perhaps the least safe in Niagara Falls, NY according to the the local police department. We were advised to leave ASAP and we did leave early by two days and moved to a nearby Sheraton. Locks on the exterior door to the house, as well as to the main entrance doors to the two apartments were missing strike place, which means that the deadbolt goes into the wooden door frame, which provides no security against a kick to the door. It's a house that was built in 1924, so the wood is old and weak.
The property management company "Niagara Hospitality" was advised of this and did nothing about it. It's a quick and easy fix to install these strike plates which come with every lock. That and 3" nails would have done the job to establish a minimum level of security.
The property sent out numerous automated emails, even before we checked in, reminding us to check out by 10 AM. It seemed that us checking out was their highest priority. I booked both floors for my family and was promised toiletries in both bathrooms, instead only one 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and bath gel bottle was left in only one of the bathrooms. How cheap do you have to be to offer a single bottle for a 3-in-1?
ALL mattresses were old and incredibly uncomfortable. You can feel every spring in your back. Everyone woke up with a sore back.
One air-conditioning register was missing a grate, exposing a rattling interior. A/C rattled loudly.
