Dear Expedia and Days Inn Management,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at your property. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property was not being operated as a proper hotel. The lobby and hallways were filthy, the environment was extremely noisy, and we immediately felt unsafe. One elevator was completely broken, and the other was barely functioning. We had to wait nearly 10 minutes, only to discover people inside who had clearly been using drugs. This was deeply unsettling and completely unacceptable for a place advertised as safe accommodation for travelers.
We did not feel comfortable staying even one night. After checking in, we went out briefly for our business, and upon returning, we made the decision to check out immediately rather than risk spending the night in such unsafe conditions.
I must stress that guests should be warned in advance if a property is being used for purposes other than standard hotel accommodation. Both Expedia and Days Inn failed to disclose this, which misled us into booking under false pretenses.
Given the unsanitary, unsafe, and misleading conditions, I am requesting a full refund for this booking. I trust that you will handle this matter promptly, as the experience was far below the minimum expectations of hospitality and guest safety.
I look forward to your immediate response and resolution.
Vaheh
