Decent Motel with clean rooms and helpful staff. About 25 minutes from Downtown Vancouver/Harbour, but train/transit station is 5 minutes walk away and trains run frequently. The Motel is in a decent neighbourhood, with a good bar/diner (Birdies) a few minutes walk away.

Very clean room, very helpful staff, well maintained property in very quiet but visible location across the Boundry Road and Bridge Studio . So quiet and pleasant even near 7 mins walk to the Gilmore Skytrain station. Loved this place . Note : this don’t offer any breakfast but it does have a cafe nearby that you can get $9 breakfast for being hotel guest and there is a burger restaurant on property that after 9pm half price burgers with a drink( this place was packed on a Friday night ). Easy access to main road for ins and out and very close to the Amzing Brentwood complex.

For the most part Porter experience was wonderful. We would definitely stay again. Beautiful area, centrally located, excellent restaurants around and a very good restaurant on site. The k only negative is this is the only hotel we stayed at and we left a picnic blanket that we put on the bed top protect it if the dog got on there. It was left behind by accident. When we called to make arrangements to pick up the blanket we were told that there was no record of the item. It was cheap but we really miss it.

We booked this 9 months in advance with the world cup being on and found it hard to get value for money with this being the best option. Although at close to £1700 for 7 nights it did seem over priced to say the least. We arrived and had a pleasant greeting by the reception and a quick easy check in which is always nice after a long day's travelling. We had a kitchenette room which was equipped enough to prepare breakfast and drinks when needed. The bathroom had a bath shower which did the job after a busy days sighteseeing. The best way I can describe it from the outside is how you picture a roadside motel in the movies, but saying that we had a great stay, good nights sleep and the air-con was a blessing on the warmer nights just to take the edge off. Its about a 20 minute taxi into the city, which is how we navigated the first couple of days, or 30 minutes using the skytrain which is a more than reliable alternative. Five stars seems high for the price we paid, but taking points off would seem harsh as the property was as described and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
