Old school motel but updated, dog friendly, and very affordable!

Everyone was kind and made me feel welcome. I was happy that the hotel is pet friendly because I could travel with my dog. Saint Joseph is a nice town with friendly people and fun places to see. I had a relaxing trip and would stay at this hotel again.

I liked that it’s family owned, didn’t enjoy the basement smell our 2 rooms had. It was pet friendly with a friendly staff.

I liked that it was a less expensive place, but with AC, fridge, Micro, dresser, charge locations. The bed was not very comfortable. The room had a couple of chairs that were OK. Centrally located.

Pool looked like it hasn't been opened in a few yrs. Rooms were a bit below standard for clean. Location is good, staff nice.

I would never stay here again. There was mold in the bathroom so bad we had to keep the door shut to sleep. I would have left, but it was late and the hotels were all booked. This was the most disgusting place I have ever slept in and I was not comfortable with the environment, as far as safety.

Pool was not open no breakfast and the room was disgusting the lady at desk was so rude and u could tell she didn't care that I was telling her the room was disgusting she tried to say the reason why I was going to leave was because I found a better cheaper price at a better hotel but that's not the case I didn't look for another hotel till I got into the room and it was nasty I would never ever go back there again and I would never recommend anyone to go there

The room was no frills, but clean and quiet. Very close to Silver beach, gas and food within walking distance. I would stay there again for sure.

No pool. Didn't see any amenities. Limited in room hair wash. Body wash. Ice was good. Pretty clean. Sink stopper didn't work, batteries dying in remote. Siding coming off in bathroom.

Not sure it was worth $224.00 a night, just needed a place to sleep. Just an okay place!

This hotel is in need of repair. The room we stayed in smelled of mold/mildew, very dated furniture, stains on beds and pillows. Cigarette burns on mattress. Bugs crawling on walls, especially in the bathroom. Painting on walls done poorly. AC was extremely loud and rattling off and on. Staff were very nice but we ended up cancelling our stay after one night. I would caution booking here until these issues can be resolved. I can’t speak for every room but ours was not tolerable for more than one night. Parking is tight. Pool is no longer used and covered. Location is great. I did ask for a refund and that was taken care of.

I unfortunately would not recommend anyone stay here especially if you are sensitive to smoke, mold, or musty smells. I reserved a non-smoking room and the first assigned room smelled like cigarette smoke, the second room had either dirty or burnt sheets but the lighting in the room was bad I couldn’t tell which, and the bathroom had mold and black grout and smelled extremely musty. The third room while clean and had an updated bathroom had such a strong musty basement smell my daughter had to stay at my sister’s house. The two room chairs were really dirty, paint was peeling and the door safety lock was an old chain lock that did make me feel secure. I went back though and stayed because it was a non-refundable room and unfortunately woke up with a severe headache and checked out as soon as I could. Noone is at the front office, You have to pick up a phone that dials to the main house in the back and someone will come and assist you. The young lady was nice but seemed bothered when we requested a room change.
