Booked a double queen room with bay view and a clear picture of two queen beds for around $350 for the night of August 21st at the Jamaica Bay Inn, instead when we got there around 9:30pm after a long drive from NorCal and ahead of a long business day the next day we were given a room (a suite that we had never requested) with one real bed and one badly crooked pullout couch bed/cot, which I couldn’t sleep in, I had to put the mattress on the floor and got about two hours sleep.
Upon our arrival the front desk clerk acknowledged that there had been a mistake and our room had been given away but all she could come up with was give us the e-mail of one of the managers at 9:30pm?? Same managers, Paulyne Tran and Hee Sung Choi that I've been e-mailing for the last five days without getting any reply beside an "I'm out of the office" automatic one!!
On top of that at around 12:30 AM a janitor started cleaning the outdoor restaurant area just downstairs from our room for close to half an hour with an incredibly loud leaf blower device, whose outrageously ear piercing noise made enjoying whatever we were doing impossible, absolutely unbelievable!! Worst hotel stay and worst customer service ever!!
