This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing: plenty of food choices and Finnish specialties including the Karelian pie (and veggie option of that even). The hotel is modern, clean and tidy, with maintaining a hint of their prison history. The associated part of the building is almost a community: a gym, a spa, bakery, restaurants, shops and a funicular going downhill to the river. Highly recommended, and definitely will stay there when I visit Turku next time.

Aamiaispöytiä ei siivottu henkilökunnan toimesta ollenkaan aamiaisen aikana, jolloin aamiaisen joutui nauttimaan pöydissä, joissa oli ennestään likaisia astioita. Muuten hotellin siisteys oli hyvä.
