Breakfast was very limited and not ready at 6:30 otherwise ok good place to stay at
We drove from Texas to visit family. I always stay at the Super8, but found reviews that rated the luxury inn slightly higher. The bed was small and uncomfortable. I did like how cold we were able to get the room. Regardless, access to the hotel is difficult and the parking lot is not very big. I’ve decided that we will stay at the Super 8 when we come back in the fall or just bring our RV.
The room had little liquor bottles in it from the last person who stayed there. The pool was green and dirty. The worker called us over before going to the pool to make sure we understood the rules and said we can only swim for 1 1/2 hours so that we don’t tie up the pool. There was only 3 cars in the parking lot and I never saw another person.
The room was clean, but when the lights were turned on it took awhile for them to turn on since the electrical is old and the bed was like a rock.
I understand the whole COVID-19 is going on but the man at the front desk was grouchy it never said anything about jumping in the pool and he come out really grouchy about it. The beds were very hard if you like a hard bed then you will like it. It was like whatever you did the man was unhappy about. Visitors had to check in no one could come in after 11 it was like hospital hours
During the pandemic, we were a little afraid of traveling. But we had stayed at Luxury Inn before and it was good then. This time, though, it was more than that. The area was clean. You could smell fresh cleaning. The gentleman behind the counter wore his mask. We felt very comfortable staying there.
This place was terrible. Unclean, incredibly dated, dusty, just gross. I did not stay here after seeing the condition of my room even though I paid.
