A refurbished Oaks appartments property . Moderately priced and convenient roomy and comfortable. Management seem to want to remind you this is a discount economy experience for no good reason ? Good value for a night at the theatre or a longer stay in the city.

Upon checking in the process was straight forward, however actually getting into my room with the keycard provided was the first issue to open the door I had to tap the card four times and on the fourth time the door to my room would open. The bedroom and living space were relatively clean but the viewing window which had an incredible view of Melbourne was dirty. The bathroom had a leaking shower head and tap and one of the lights on the right was constantly flickering when on. Overall it was a good hotel to stay at but would have been nice to have had some of these issue repaired and cleaned before checking in.

The apartment was comfortable, spacious and relatively quiet. Situated in a fantastic location for public transport, shopping, restaurants, and theatre making a trip by train and leaving the car at home very easy. We had some unforeseen issues with the bathroom but the staff did everything to fix the situation and make repairs straight away. I would stay here again.

It was ok. Convenient to many things, and thankfully there is parking right next door which was welcome with our impromptu drive in to the city. Cleaning could have been more thorough especially in the kitchenette and around the bath. Comfortable, warm and relatively quiet rooms. There was some renovation going on in the building and having to share the lift with tradies and their huge equipment felt little unnecessary and very crowded. This was my second stay here (and in the same room), I might consider staying again but would be checking what was happening in the building first.
