They only clean every second day and there was a lot of accumulated dust around the edges of the carpet (especially on the stairs) Lift and corridor carpets could have been cleaner too. I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand. Great location with easy access to train stations and trams. Staff were friendly. The heated pool was a bonus. The restaurant served fabulous Indian food in the evening and the Grain Store in Flinders Lane, that they recommended for breakfast, was superb. Definitely will stay there again.
