8/10 Muy bueno

The place is beautiful, the staff was great. I enjoyed my stay with the exception of how loud the onsen sounded because of the gaggle of girls in it. Now that there was anything the hotel could do about it. The place seemed out of the way at first and then I realized EVERYTHING was out of the way lol

A wonderful little gem, the friendliest staff of our whole trip. The rooms are nice, the communal eating/lounge area is wonderful, with big light windows onto the garden and with toasty woodburner and the food is delicious. Best Ramen I had in Japan! but the best bit is the onsen, which we used twice per day, such a relaxing and welcoming space

Hidden Gem in Hakone — Don’t Sleep on It Asante Inn completely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, cute, and beautifully organized, and the food was absolutely amazing. The private onsen was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, no crowds, just pure relaxation. Access is super easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout. This place is a must, especially if you are on a tight budget, incredible value for what you get. Highly recommend! 🌿♨️

Great little hotel off the beaten path near Gora Station. Easy enough to get around the Hakone are while also having some seclusion, not to mention the private Onsen and nice lounge area!
