I was collecting a delivery at night. The door closed on me and I didnt have my key handy. I called to the front desk and was told it is policy that i had to come down to the front desk to get it. I was barefoot and had to go down from the 14th floor amd the front desk person said that it was ok. She made it seem like i was asking permission to walk around bare foot. I was saying this isnt a good option . The winter floors were not good to walk bare foot on. Mim the front desk woman wanted my ID and i had to remind her I was locked out of my room and when I get a key i can provide them all that is required but she seemed like she was not interested in that. I provided the reservation that I had and was given a key. She even took a call while attending to me and was sending up something to another room. I am wondering who gets this Premiere service and why I didnt get it. I then expressed that I was not happy about having to walk around a hotel bare foot. Mim just laughed at me and the problem and offered nothing. This is not a good thing to make guests do and then laugh about it infront of them. Not a good look Best Western Premiere! I dont know how there is a Premiere badging without even basic service.
