Parking should be included. Nice hotel even though it’s very old
The rooms photots are VERY MISLEADING. We did not get the room we reserved. Bathroom is so small your knees touch the bathtub. Super TINY sink in the bedroom. And the 1 bedroom was not a 1 bedroom.
Customer service was awesome but room was cold and had to ask for a heater but love the hotel and the services I received. Other than being cold most of the night I would still come back.
Incredibly tiny shower: impossible to shower there without wetting the hair, I got several bruises trying to wiggle in that space. Bath towels are so small and look more like oversized hand towels. AC doesn’t adjust the temperature unless you are willing to always call in a technician to set it up for you every time.
Charming and visually appealing. Good location. Street noise is an issue with the windows open. The first room I was provided was 80 degrees and the windows wouldn’t open. The air conditioning had been shut off for the season (I was told by the front desk). I asked for another room on the 2nd floor and it was 74 degrees with windows that open (but no screens, which made me want to close them when I slept). When I woke up it was 78 in the room. Old building - funky hvac. Pet peeve: I love when housekeeping checks the alarms next to the bed when turning over a suite. The morning after my first night the alarm went off super early - apparently from the last person’s settings. The hotel has potential but I’d probably not stay there again for a while on my next visit.
This hotel is unique and fun to stay at. Fair warning you can only either do heat or AC depending upon the season. Currently it’s fall and they have the heat on...but it was too hot to sleep comfortably because it was nice outside. Otherwise it’s a wonderful hotel in a very historic building.
It was very loud. You can hear all the traffic and noise from the street. Beds are comfy, staff is nice. It is a very pretty hotel.
The hotel is in a good location. It is nicely redone. However, the walls are very thin. The parking lot behind the hotel is used as party central. People drinking, being loud till 2:00 am. If you stay here, come in the winter and ask to be on the front side of the hotel.
Rooms are super nice! Excellent lotions and shampoos for the guest
The hotel is beautiful and located within walking distance to great food. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is small - which is fine. It's an old hotel. However, the bathtub is so close to the toilet, you have to straddle the seat to sit. The shower was also tiny. On a previous stay we were next to the elevator and it was so loud we couldn't sleep. We asked for a room in the back of the hotel and made an even worse mistake. There's a parking lot on the north side of the hotel and it's shared with a club. It was SO LOUD until the club closed at 2am. You could hear people and music and it shook the room. When the club closed they revved and raced their cars around the parking lot for another hour. It was miserable on what was supposed to be a romantic getaway. It's unfortunate, but we won't stay again and don't recommend it.
