It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, beautiful and very clean, stunning decor, peaceful and gorgeous food. Me and mum love the New Forest and spent many many years in Brockenhurst so finding an excellent hotel has really made it for us, we will definitely be going back there 🏆❤️

A lovely traditional country hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was beautifully presented and clean. The food was very good. I would certainly stay at this hotel again .

Such a memorable stay for my husband’s 70th Birthday. Our family were all made to feel so welcome and the meal for twelve was perfectly presented. I want to recognise particularly Izzy and Emma for their service as it went above and beyond.

What we liked was the location as it was about 15 min walk into Brockenhurst where there were some nice pubs and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a standard classic room which was very tired and quite small as was the bathroom. I can’t speak of other rooms but it definitely needs attention. Breakfast cooked to order which is a plus. If we were to return it would have to be in a larger room which wasn’t available at time of booking.

Great location but stuck in the 1980’s and in need of a refresh No air on so avoid in the new English summers

Really loved this place. OK the weather was brilliant, so we could spend evening in the garden. But I was very sad to leave to go home. Can'r wait to visit again.

It was a lovely hotel. Real shame they didn’t have air conditioning, although they provided fans which helped a little.

The hotel was lovely, excellent position, our room was at the front brilliant for watching ponies and cows wandering outside. We ate in the bar the staff and food were lovely

The food service and staff were exemplary, the bed however wasn’t. I get that hotels have to cover for people wanting twin rooms , however when paying for a delux room I expect a double bed , not two singles pushed together. Very uncomfortable nights sleep.

Lovely room for a relaxing stay in the New Forest. The food (dinner and breakfast) was standard hotel food—not bad but not great. The dinner was presented in a gourmet style but of average quality.

Stunning room. View of garden was great. There was a wedding event the following night so the hotel was closed to the public the following day. The restaurant was quiet that night but good food was served. We were very happy with the site and surroundings. We didn't have breakfast but were genuinely happy with the stay. Staff were very busy given the impending event but we felt we were looked after.

Room was comfortable and clean. Doors tend to slam so you can have noisy neighbours. Garden was big and plenty of seating but needs some tlc and more kids stuff. Food was average at best. Some staff were great, some need more training. Not sure I’d stay again.
