Best bed
It was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while traveling. The staff were friendly and upgraded my stay. I’ll choose the Clyde hotel for return trips.

Great Place
I came for a conference. The Clyde wasn’t the conference hotel and I’m OH so glad I ended up where I did. The lobby is elegant and comfy. Bar was great and the “sunken living room” in the center of the lobby was a lovely place to gather with colleagues. Carrie’s was a good place to eat, but the restaurant was short staffed, so allow lots of time. The bed was comfy, the elevator worked (NOT the case at the conference hote) and the star was wonderful.

Update furniture needed.
I get they have renamed the hotel for one of albuquerque"s mayors and junk, but they have chosen to not update all of the furniture in the rooms. Which is fine and cost prohibitive. However the chair in the room had a hole/tear in the fabric from wear and tear. This was not a recent fabric tear. The room was clean aside from this.

ONE NIGHT STAYCATION @ THE CLYDE!!
This was a spur of the moment staycation get away from life/the kids/etc. Just one night, but it felt like we were somewhere else. The room was amazing, on the top floor of the hotel. The view was perfection. (Room 2001) We had a long leisurely breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. Our room was very clean, and the keurig in the room with coffee/cream/sweetener was a lovely touch. OH...and the body products are so nice. Bed was very comfie!! We will do this again!!

Place needs major maintenance
Elevators broken. With a convention in town and a Marathon you had to wait in line to get on an elevator which took 5-10 minutes. There was 1 elevator working. Parking validation didn't work. Parking garage smelled like a dumpster and was very dirty. One very rude and unprofessional front desk receptionist. The manager was exceptional, and the other front desk receptionist were very professional. Very slow internet. Place needed major maintenance. Most likely won't stay here again.

First room was covered in pubes and was absolutely dirty. Plus blood stained sheets. When I say covered in pubes it was uncalled for the scheer amount of them. They did give us a second room immediately tho

Lobby did not match the drapes
The outside and floor did not match the drapes. The room worked for us but it needs a refresh to match the rest of the hotel. The elevator stopped working for us. Ran out of key cards for our stay. Good location and parking. The fit and finish of the bathroom were not up to standard.

Sneezing and snotting attack
Walking in had high hopes it looked good and the staff was really nice. Walked up to the room and it reeked of mold I think. I instantly started sneezing/ snotting/ and coughing it lasted the entire time I was in the room. I would have left, but couldn’t get my money back and it was late by the time I got there. None of the staff knew of any walking distance dinner places, but the bar had really good lemon drop drinks.

Great place for downtown access and entertainment.
It was walking distance to the venue I was going to and the hotel itself was great. Parking garage was easily accessible, room was nice. No issues. I bring my own blankets and sheets, plus my pillow so I don’t worry about cleanliness too much unless something crawls up on me lol. Then, that’s something else. A worser review lol. But, overall it’s a good place to stay, with amenities close by. But downtown places close early on weekdays, which was when my trip took place. 👏👍😊
