My wife and I stayed at your hotel from April 12th to 15th, as part of our honeymoon trip to Rome. While we appreciated the central location and proximity to many attractions, we unfortunately had several issues that significantly impacted our stay.
Upon arrival, we were surprised to discover there was no elevator, especially after coming off a week-long cruise with two 60lb suitcases. It would have been helpful to know this in advance, as it made checking in quite difficult.
Once in the room, we were disappointed by a few things. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and there was only one flat pillow per person, which led to poor sleep and waking up in pain. More concerning, however, was that the room constantly vibrated throughout the night. It was strong enough to cause items to fall off surfaces, and we barely got any rest. We’re not sure if this was an issue with just our room or the entire building.
Additionally, we encountered several spiders in the room (I have photos) and were bitten multiple times by mosquitoes, even though we kept the windows closed. This made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. We did attempt to mention our concerns to the staff member we saw on the first day, but we didn’t see him again during our stay and had no other way to communicate with anyone onsite.
Overall, we felt very disappointed, especially as this was supposed to be a special and memorable time for us. We tried to make the most of it.
