You may have to walk a bit more than expected, but the path to the museum is beautiful, so that should at least make the walk enjoyable. It houses some fine artwork, but the most popular aspect of the museum is actually the windows that capture the outside landscape like a painting. Each space is designed with beauty in mind, and the admission fee is not at all expensive. It's a place you'll want to visit every season.

Hwangnidan-gil, or Hwangnidan Street, is full of cafes and restaurants sporting unique concepts. There are plenty of new buildings, but the secret to its popularity is the old buildings and traditional Korean homes (Hanok) from the '60s and '70s that are still well-preserved. The street is close to the famous Daereungwon Tomb Complex and Cheomseongdae, meaning that it's a place where Gyeongju's past and present come together. Sitting at a modern cafe and looking at Daereungwon might feel just a tad surreal. This place is also great for taking a break and enjoying the rest of Gyeongju while visiting Bomun Lake.

In Hall 2, you can take fun pictures with illusion art, a favourite among children as well as adults.
