"Stayed here recently and unfortunately had issues with the TV/Chromecast not working. Staff did come to try and fix it, but it couldn’t be resolved, which meant we couldn’t have the movie night we had planned.
We also sent an email during our stay that wasn’t responded to. At checkout, we were offered a free coffee, which was appreciated, but didn’t really feel like a fair resolution given the inconvenience.
Overall, a disappointing experience.

Staff were very professional; attentive without being intrusive and always happy to provide suggestions or advice.
Excellent location. Close to Chinatown - avoid the Shanghai Village restaurant if you want a quiet dinner - and the CBD.
Make use of the free transport in the city centre; route 35 takes you around the whole city on a one hour tour. Also go on the free walking tours around the city, but leave the knowledgeable guide a gratuity at the end!
Don't miss Brunetti Oro cafe for fabulous coffee and cakes."

"Good value hotel. Centrally located with easy access to tram, cafe, restaurant and attraction. Stayed here a couple of times before. Unfortunately this time our room wasn't clean and missing additional security lock. We asked for the room to be cleannes properly the next day but it wasn't done. Management eventually gave us a different room which was clean. Despite the issue, we would return and recommend as all our previous stays were good."
