Very clean. Lovely Mountain Views. Very bright so definitely bring a face mask to help with sleeping. Kitchen was great for cooking!

The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. Just wanted to say the staff here made our trip memorable. The breakfast was fantastic. Prior to arriving I let the staff know we would be arriving early due to a early flight and needed to freshen up due to me proposing. They made the accommodation. The little cottages are a treat to stay in. The owner is friendly You need to bring evening meal food, but breakfast is very good if you order and pay for it. A great base for visiting Snaefelsnes Peninsular.

This was a very small but adorable room in the inn. The mural was such a nice addition. There was limited space for the two of us and I'm not sure if I would have wanted to stay for the whole week in a room of this size with limited amenities like an in-room fridge or tv, but it worked well for the night.
