Bago Region Hotels

Not too many options in Bago, this is overpriced in my opinion but pretty nice. The breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and kind. Better to save money and stay elsewhere though.

We had a lovely two-night stay here as a family and were upgraded to the Kin Wunn Villa upon arrival. Just being in nature, petting goats, and sitting on the porch looking at the scenery was the refreshment from the city we were hoping for. The staff members were all very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed my stay at parami hotel. Buffet breakfast spread was great for the 4 nights we stayed in the hotel. Housekeeping walks by every room to check if guests need additional supply of toiletries etc. A pity, the swimming pool closes when the sky bar opens at around 7. Food at sky bar is good.

This was absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Great lobby, breakfast, room, and pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly, welcoming, attentive, I had a positive experience at the hotel. Two slight downsides - the internet in the room is not very strong/irregular. However, if you take a call in the dining room or the lobby, it is strong/consistent. Also, I was there during rainy season, so the carpeting in the hotel room gives off a stale smell. Besides those two things, its okay. The breakfast is very good, the gym is very very nice.

Comfortable and clean. Of the six or so places we stayed in Myanmar, it was definitely the best. The service also very good. The “Venus” message spa gave great messages for a reasonable price. I declined the “additional special services”, and was kinda surprised that such was politely offered. I guess the name “Venus” should have been a clue. Still, I would recommend it as the message was very good.

It is located rather isolated in a city that is isolated.

BUILDINGS: I prefer this simpler, wooden and marble material with almost Minimalist decor and simple layout; this makes it look brighter, more spacious and cohesive (compared to the rooms at Myat Taw Win, which seemed cluttered in interior design, e.g., heavy drapes that were hard to move and got stuck at times and incongruent furniture pieces).. In addition, the landscaping of lilypad lake at entrance, sidewalks dotted with frangipani and a pool with a lot full of possibly banana-trees make me...
