I booked the single bed room, it was great, comfy bed, smaller space (expected) but I had room for all of my stuff. Bathrooms were clean. Ski storage was warm!! Gear has no problem drying out at all. I packed my own boot dryers but didn’t need to use them once. Outside the gear room is ski waxing/tuning bench. I never used it, but they had a scraper and some screw drivers. Great set-up. Location is good, close to 7-11 made it very convenient. Walk to echo land was about 15 minutes, perfect for me. Did not really want to stay in the middle of the action, but close enough to it.
All roads in winter are very slippery, even if you have good boots, I’d recommend bringing some cleats or spikes that wrap around your footwear. I bought some really good ones from the sports store down the road 7000 jpy. Made walking SOO much easier and relaxed. At least buy some cheap ones on Amazon before you go. It will help 100%. Saw some sober people get pretty banged up too. Not just drunk ones .
I will 100% try to stay here when i return.
