There were a lot of spiders, dead and living, around. Maybe it’s just the area we stayed in? Other than the spiders, everything was great. Delicious breakfast, easy free parking. We didn’t eat dinner on site, but we enjoyed a drink at the bar.

We were looking for a hotel close to Mons Klint and this fit the bill. Just a 15 min drive from Mons Klint and close to grocery stores and restaurants. Rooms were a good size, clean and quiet. Included breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful. Views from the room were of the golf course which was very beautiful and quiet.

When we arrived at 5PM the hotel was practically on cruise control, meaning no staff around. It was not a problem, our key was in an envelope at the reception and we didn't need anything else. The breakfast was very good. We got a late check out which allowed us to freshen up in the room after a brief hike at Mons Klimt. This was very much appreciated! Thanks again!

A Great Hotel for Golfers, Less So for Families

To be fair, I think I chose the wrong hotel for my family. It’s a very good hotel, especially for guests who come to play golf. However, for a family with children, it may not be the most suitable choice. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent, and having a parking space was very convenient since we arrived by car. Unfortunately, the cleanliness—particularly in the room—left a lot to be desired. The bathtub had hair in it, the drainage was slow, and there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. We also had trouble during the warm weather because the room had no fan or air conditioning, which made it very hot and uncomfortable to sleep at night.

We were there for just 1 night with 1yo and a 6yo. We dined in the restaurant - with dirty cutlery and dirty glasses. And there were shards of glass from the night before all over the floor. Food was okay, they were generous with the wine, and the waiters were very friendly. Worst thing was the room. It was painstakingly hot with no possibility of cooling it down. Breakfast was just below par. We didn’t use their facilities. All in all, underwhelming. But nice staff.

The room was unbearably hot, and the windows opened directly onto a terrace where smoking was allowed. This meant that if we kept the windows open, anyone outside could easily see and hear what was happening in the room, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. There was no option to borrow a fan, only to rent one. The bathroom was not very clean. There were stains in the toilet and mold around the floor drain. When we arrived, we noticed that a dog had urinated against the wall inside . We had our own dog with us, but it was only allowed to stay in the room and was not permitted in any other areas of the hotel. We decided to leave one day earlier than planned.

Underwhelming

Friendly staff! But - non existing air condition. Didn’t get any sleep at all. Strange smell in the corridors and our room. Only one meat dish in restaurant made us take the car to town 10-15 min away to get anything to eat. Breakfast was bare minimum. Watery coffee and dry bread.

Jeg havde valgt et panorama værelse og beliggenheden af denne med en tilhørende terrasse og udsigt til golfbanen var perfekt. I værelset var der et køleskab, som ikke kølede. Der var tilmed mug i det i hjørnerne. Fugerne i brusekabinen var ligeledes præget af sort mug, som med kvalificeret rengøring burde være mulig at holde nede. Det varme brus skulle være inden kl 8, ellers var der ingen varmt vand. Den første aften, hvor jeg spiste i restauranten, var lidt en farce. Personalet løb til tider rundt i mellem bordene og der herskede en stemning af kaos og dårlig logistik. Jeg er vidende om, at der var personale mangel, men denne oplevelse gjorde, at jeg ikke spiste der igen. Morgenmaden var ok. Ikke noget overraskende/ekstraordinært. Jeg vil nok betegne den som simpel og havde der været salt i bøsserne til æggene, havde jeg nok kunne undgå irritation, også på denne front Den mest positive oplevelse jeg havde, var personalet i receptionen. De gav en superfin rundvisning og var virkelig søde og gjorde, at man tænkte: Dette skal nok gå.
