The staff were very kind and friendly. The breakfasts were very good. The sad thing was the view from our window. It was facing a brick wall. Other rooms seemed to have views of the magnificent countryside. I think with what we paid we should have had a room with a view. Maybe it was because we booked through Hotel.com.

Staff are fabulous - cannot do enough to help you. Breakfast decent, evening menu needs a bit of an update - it used to be much more expansive - I appreciate things have changed since Covid, but probably needs a refresher. Rooms definitely in need of a facelift - damaged desk/dressing table not very impressive.
