Breakfast was great and parking was nice as I could park the truck near the room window. The staff were very helpful as well and great with the kids. The room was also very clean.

I think the staff there are actually the owners as well. Not sure but got that feeling. Check in was nice and easy. The room was clean. Cold at the start as they left a window open intentionally, with minus temperatures. I guess they are renovating. The closet was not finished. Nothing to be able hang anything. Had to put my jacket on a chair. You need instruction on how to work the TV. 2 controllers, you start with one, then move onto the other one. Breakfast was a little les than exciting. Saturday morning was better as they had pastries and muffins. Sunday morning was just cereal, toast and fruit. When leaving, there was no one at the counter, so I just left the key card on the desk. Overall, it was OK and comfy.

The hotel has been completely renovated and everything inside is brand new. The room was very comfortable and the bed was perfect to sleep on. Very clean. The only thing i would improve is the breakfast. There wasn't any cream for coffee nor milk for cereal. There wasn't any staff available to ask for these items. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay and i'd stay there again.

They are in the process of renovating but our room was new and clean. The outside needs to look more welcoming and requires some tender loving care. Looks abandoned when you pull up.

Our family stayed in the Junior Suite and we are very happy with our stay for the most part. Our disappointment was more in what the area was missing for amenities, not the hotel, as they were great. 5 STARS to the family running the Viking Hotel! We were greeted with a freindly smile and instructions for the continental breakfast. The breakfast offers more than what you get for most Continenetal breakfasts. They had multiple varieties of breads and bagels, 3-5 variaties of dry cerial, fresh apples, bananas, yogurt, coffee, tea and fresh juices. 5 STARS for breakfast The hotel itself looks very old and dated; howerver; ownership looks to be currently renovating many areas, including the suite we were staying in. They have chosen a very clean sleek marble look, that reminds me of Las Vegas! Anytime we needed anything, the family was readily avaibale to assist with a smile. This hotel is 2 stories, so if you have anyone with you with disabilities/mobility issues, then please ensure you book on the 1st level as there is no elevator currently. This was my mistake as I booked this room before we knew others would be joining. Nothing wrong with the property condition, only got a 4 star due to construction, so they will be a 5 star soon :) Area around the property got a 1 star, as there was no where to get prepared food after 6pm, with the exception of Subway, so difficult to eat healthy.
