Hi Basicly we had a nice stay. But would choose differently next time. There had been a flooding in the basement meaning the Electronic activities was out of order - fair enough. The chicken nuggets for the kids was served raw. They got a new metal, but it was too late. The lights (metal) by the beds were Extreme hot and you would burn your hands if you didnt hit them exactly at night time. But the people were very nice and a lovely forrest around the hotel.

Old and Worn-out hotel

Stayed at this hotel during a visit to Heide Park. Chosen for its low price and decent appearance online, but the actual experience was disappointing. The hotel is very outdated and poorly maintained. Common areas and rooms show clear signs of wear—faded carpets, damaged furniture, dim lighting, and an overall neglected feel. The website photos are misleading and do not reflect the current condition. Our room was not properly cleaned: cobwebs on the ceiling, dusty shelves, and broken tiles in the bathroom. It felt like it hadn’t been deep-cleaned or refreshed in a long time. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. While the waiter was friendly and service was fast, he appeared unprofessional—worn-out clothes and poor hygiene, including dirty nails. The food was below average: the schnitzel lacked flavor, tasted of old oil, and the hollandaise sauce contained dried estragon. Portions were large, but the quality didn’t match the price. Breakfast was reasonable for the rate. The staff kept the buffet stocked and the area tidy. Staff were generally polite, but the overall service level was low. The hotel may suffice for a quick night’s sleep and basic breakfast, but don’t expect comfort or value beyond that. There are better options in the area, even just for a bed and a shower.

Staff nice but door banging all night

We didn't sleep for the three night we were there. There is a door from reception to the bedrooms, it was constantly banging loudly all night, keeping us awake. The hotel in general was very clean but the room wasn't cleaned each day, clean towels were put in the room and the bin was emptied but a new bin bag wasn't put in the bin and our coffee cups from the bar bar were not removed, after two day I took them to the myself, the tissues in the bathroom ran out and wasn't replaced with a new box

Juli 2026. Lige for tiden er de uheldige, at der er vejarbejde, så vejen til dem er spærret fra nord. Hotellet afspejler prisen, og fremstår meget slidt. Der lader til at være en renovation igang, men værelserne bliver stadig lejet ud. Rengøringen var mildest talt mangelfuld, vi fik dem dog til at rette op på det mest iøjnefaldende. (Fyldt og ildelugtende hygiejne spand på badeværelset) Vi spiste en middag på hotellet, priserne var ok. Maden var lidt a la en fryse middag der ikke var blevet varmet nok op. Morgenmaden havde vi bestilt hjemmefra, hvilket de fleste andre på hotellet også havde. Personalet var dog ikke gearet til det pres, der var på restauranten. Så der var længere perioder med kritiske mangler. (Mælk, frugt, kaffe, muligheden for at tage flydende pålæg (marmelader, honning, hasselnøddepålæg o.l.)) De ligger i god afstand til Heidepark, hvilket var årsagen til vores besøg. Dog ligger der også en festplads tæt på, så natten gik med høj musik og glade mennesker.
