My experience with this hotel has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am writing this review as a serious warning to any potential guest: protect your money and book elsewhere.
I attempted to cancel my reservation in good faith, following the hotel's own stated cancellation policy to the letter. I made several attempts to cancel well within the legally permitted time period, documenting each interaction. Despite my diligence and adherence to their rules, the hotel completely never responds and doesn’t answer their phones, completely disregarding my concerns and failing to refund me in full.
By violating their own policy and refusing to refund my money, they have also clearly violated the Consumer Protection Act. My repeated attempts to resolve this directly with the property have been met with dismissal and utter contempt for my rights as a consumer. They have shown zero interest in rectifying their error, leaving me no choice but to escalate the matter, legally.
Be advised that we are now filing formal complaints with their corporate management company, Shaner Corp and the proper consumer protection authorities to trigger a complete and thorough investigation into their business practices. Furthermore, my attorney has been fully briefed on the situation and is prepared to take appropriate legal action against both the property and the management company.
