Very clean and large room with friendly staff. Voucher to the nearby restaurant for a coffee was nice as well. Only downside was check in wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked, since I had no WiFi and there are no entry instructions until after you’ve arrived (door code or staff present). Parking wasn’t too far either. No real windows so room is pretty dark and cave like, except for the courtyard light near the entrance.

The bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent However, the place was damp, there was very little natural light, there was no heated towel rail, or places for towels, there was no desk to sit at, and only one uncomfortable chair. We felt that having to check in by phone and send passport details by WhatsAp was not very hospitable. Also, the courtyard area outside the room was quite scruffy and unappealing

The accommodation was very well located and overall quite nice, but unfortunately our stay was ruined by a huge presence of cockroaches in the apartment...We were seeing around ten a day, which was honestly very unpleasant and disgusting... Our stay in Lecce was good overall — the location was excellent and within walking distance to everything. However, there were a few downsides to note. The room was not soundproof, and it was quite noisy at night, especially on our last evening when a large party took place without any prior notice, which made it difficult to rest. Additionally, breakfast wasn't available on Sundays or holidays, and although we were provided with vouchers for a nearby café, our experience there was not very welcoming — on both visits, it felt as though we were more of a burden than guests. That said, Lecce itself was beautiful and the convenience of the location made exploring the city very easy.

This was the most unpleasant experience in a long trip in southern Italy. Nobody had informed us that the BbB was in a restricted for the cars area. The landlady was not in place nor responding in the phone and we had to ask help from the neighbors. Once we entered, one of the two rooms was in very bad shape regarding unpleasant mold odor. At the same time, we noticed that there was another room available, in much better conditions. We kindly asked the landlady to use it instead, and her behavior was not professional at all. Furthermore, basic breakfast was offered in a very unconvenient small outdoor yard with the personnel to be very unpolite! Not recommended!

Just far too noisy

It was a real shame, because the place was lovely, but our stay was ruined by too much noise. On the first night we were kept awake by people in a restaurant right outside our room (Room 1) who were talking loudly until 12.40. The owners kindly moved us to a quieter room to the rear for our other 3 nights but we were still disturbed by noise from other guests late into the evening beyond 11pm and 11.30. On the last morning we were woken at 7.15 by the noise of workmen hammering, drilling, shouting and their radio. The view of the owners seems to be that all of this should be be expected in an Italian city in the summer. So, if you are prepared to put up with this sort of stuff, don't let this review put you off.

Séjour horrible, à fuir !!!!!! logement insalubre et gérante non disponible pour permettre d'entrer dans le logement Tout d'abord, la gérante de l'établissement refuse de nous communiquer les codes d'accès au logement et nous demande de l'appeler lorsque nous serons devant la porte. Encore faudrait-il être joignable, ce qui parait à priori normal lorsqu'on attend des clients, nous avons tenté de la contacter durant 30 minutes sans succès avant qu'elle ne daigne enfin nous rappeler. Après avoir attendu que la gérante se rende disponible pour nous donner les moyens d'entrer dans le logement, quelle joie de pénétrer dans une chambre qui sent fort le renfermé et qui dégage une telle humidité que les draps paraissaient humides au toucher. Il est inadmissible de proposer un tél logement et d'agir de la sorte. Dommage car bâtisse pleine de charme et bien située.
