Our stay at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, offering a sense of comfort and elegance. However, our experience was overshadowed by two significant hospitality shortcomings:
1) Breakfast Inaccessibility:
We were unable to access breakfast because the hotel was busy with a group booking that morning. Instead of offering an alternative, such as room service breakfast, we were simply asked to wait 30 minutes. This lack of flexibility was disappointing and disrupted our plans for the day.
2) Unpleasant Smells in Our Room:
Staying on the 11th floor (the top floor), we experienced unpleasant odors in our room, including fried fish and marijuana. We suspect this was due to proximity to the building's AC system. Despite reporting the issue to reception three times, no action was taken, and no staff member came to address the problem.
These two incidents unfortunately detracted from what could have been a perfect stay.
That said, the hotel itself is a lovely property, great location, exceptionally clean and visually appealing, with a lot of potential to deliver an excellent guest experience. With better attention to guest needs and improved hospitality responsiveness, this place could easily become a top-tier destination.
