The room was big, spacious & clean & check-in was smooth. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning unit was noisy. The bathroom was clean, big & inviting.
The breakfast offering could have been better if the coffee was refillable for a second cup.
The food & drinks on level 6 in the evening was excellent. Even the food I ordered from room service was plentiful & delicious.
However, the most basic of things were not complimentary & I found that strange & annoying.
I asked for an extra pillow & I was told that it was chargeable per pillow per day. The ironing board was chargeable and the iron was not included. The local food that was ordered comes with rice to compliment the fish but here you had to pay for the rice.
One gets the impression that this otherwise nice hotel is trying to fleece customers for many amenities that hotels of a similar category would be complimentary.
