Great hotel,not far from the main attractions. We stayed following a cruise. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is the best we have experienced at a hotel in Europe. The front desk staff was very helpful, we appreciate the recommendation to download and use the BOLT rideshare App. It was very reliable and saved several dollars compared to Taxi or Viator driver service.

Really good business hotel and clearly plenty of cruise travellers on stop-overs as well. *big* hotel. Super convenient for central Oslo (central station c 5 mins walk). Room spotless with nice views over the city. Good breakfast with good variety of food. Lovely pool and sauna but tricky access up spiral staircases off a main floor (and having to pay extra if you want to borrow a robe to walk through the hotel common areas when using these facilities feels cheap). Would definitely stay again.

Just a one night stay while visiting family. Nice and comfortable. Gym was quite impressive on the top floor. The lobby was a bit frantic and felt a it corporate for my liking, but the rooms was comfy and clean. Breakfast finished abruptly a 10am, which I think is a bit early.

Great choice for Oslo

Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Oslo. Easy train from airport to the hotel via Oslo S central station, and walk to the hotel from there. Very central to all main attractions. Highly recommend buying the Oslo Pass that includes public transport and museum admissions. Also recommend you request a room away from the giant construction site across the street. We couldn’t sleep past 7am due to the noise. Not the hotel’s fault, but every room in that hotel should be filled before you put anyone along the construction site view.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Housekeeping forgot to clean the room one day. I had to call them to get clean towels. Front desk didn’t know what Expedia Gold status was. Had to talk to a senior employee to get a room on a higher floor. The bathroom smelled like a septic tank. Other than that, very quiet room, good location beside the train station and 10 mins walk to downtown.

Unpleasant reception staff, no smiles, no welcome, no assistance - especially by trainee front staff (no name tags). Extremely noisy due to construction inside and outside hotel beyond the hours that were stated. Insufficient prior notice given by hotel regarding noise to make any refundable changes for a family booking during the busiest travel season. Area outside hotel is inaccessible to vehicles due to construction equipment and requires guests to walk past homeless people and/or drug users.

Absolutely Disappointing – Not Worth the Name or the Price! I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so shockingly poor that I feel compelled to warn others. Where do I even begin? From the moment we arrived, it was clear that incompetence reigned supreme. The check-in staff seemed confused and untrained, unable to answer even the simplest questions. Communication was a mess, and requests were either forgotten or ignored completely. To make matters worse, the entire hotel was surrounded by loud construction. From early morning until late afternoon, all we heard was drilling, hammering, and shouting. Not exactly the relaxing atmosphere we expected from a hotel of this supposed caliber. The housekeeping service was abysmal – rooms were cleaned at inconsistent times (if at all), towels were missing, and toiletries were never restocked unless we called multiple times. It felt like we were staying in a budget motel, not an upscale hotel. And let’s talk about the price: outrageous. For what we paid, we expected a flawless experience. Instead, we got noise, chaos, and poor service. This hotel hides behind a big name, but delivers none of the quality or comfort associated with it. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. There are far better options in the area for half the price – and with actual service.

Rent, fint og romslig rom. Frokost helt super. Lobbybaren er hyggelig. (…men det var veldig dyrt der) Plaza ligger side om side med Oslo spektrum og deler av Spektrum skal rives. De startet med riving kl 8 lørdag morgen, så rom mot Spektrum anbefales ikke😅
