JR Inn Asahikawa
8/10 Good
"Large format rooms for 2 pax, with decent amenities. Very close to train station and Aeon mall, great for families with small children. Things to note, the pillows tend to run out fast as it is a first come first serve basis. The smoking area is confined within the lobby, so it tends to smell very pungent and bad when they are a few smokers using the room who didn’t close the door quickly. Please improve the ventilation in the smoking room."
Premier Hotel Cabin Asahikawa
8/10 Good
"Hotel is a bit old but cleanliness is maintained. Construction ongoing next to the building, can be niisy at time."
Art Hotel Asahikawa
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing with the great location. Provided the Spa and local food experience at restaurants. The views from my room or top floor restaurant were incredible. I will comeback again"
Aonobi Yuyu
10/10 Excellent
"Exellent dinner buffet! Free shuttles (reserved) from Asahikawa and to Biei were very convenient. 3 mins walk to the famous Shirogane Bridge for great views. We didn't go to the Blue Pond due to transport logistics and lots of flying insects. Free water bottles and japanese sweets in room. Rooms were nice and clean. The only problem was our 2 rooms didn't have airconditioning, or rather, the central airconditioning is not effective at all. It was too hot to sleep for our 1 night stay in August but we would gladly stay again when it is not that hot."
Court Hotel Asahikawa
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location. Free same-day luggage/bag luggage storage after check out. Some reception staff spoke limited English but eager to help. Very spacious room. Working air-conditioning (visited in August). Clean at first glance but there were ants near kitchen area and bathroom sink. Another consideration for families staying longer is the inconvenience of the toilet and bathroom being together. Despite all this I'd likely stay again for an overnight trip only but please fix your ant problem!"
K's House Hokkaido - Asahidake Onsen Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly and helpful staff, ability to speak English was a great bonus. The lobby and guest communal area was spacious and very well maintained. I think the no-shoes policy helps. Guests are provided with slippers to wear before entering the hostel. We stayed in the twin room with private bathroom and it was clean and well maintained. Mattresses and pillows are rather soft but still comfortable for a good night sleep. But space inside the room is quite small so people with large suitcases may not be able to open them at the same time. The tattoo-friendly onsen was great amenity to have onsite!"
La Vista Daisetsuzan
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great but i felt the restaurants were overpriced."
Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and well maintained, walking distance to Asahidake ropeway. Our room was huge. The beef dish was delicious. It has a big onsite parking lot too."
OMO7 Asahikawa by Hoshino Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"Went in the summer and got a family rooms with 4 beds. Sufficent space for 2 adults and 2 young kids. Awesome breakfast. Though the spread was the same throughout our 3 days stay. The marinated diced sashimi rice was my daily fuel. Hotel parking (located next to the hotel) is limited and we had to park in one of the affiliated carparks for one of the nights. So it's good to locate a few of these carparks beforehand if you are driving. Staff was friendly. They were also willing to help accept my online shopping delivery. Do message them for instructions."
