"The property is older. That's fine. We had a clean room, hot water and a good location just two blocks from La Crucecita. But in this day and age, WiFi is a must. This hotel has great WiFi... in the lobby. But in the rooms? Literally nothing. I saw people walking the halls with their computers or IPads trying to find service. In today's age, where people use the web for everything from streaming movies to WhatsApp, connectivity is a must. Bottom line, if web access is not a deal breaker for...

"This hotel is very basic. There was not 24hr coverage from reception and the gate to the street didn’t lock. My room was on the first floor with just a flimsy lock on the door knob, and a Hollis door. It did not feel secure and I was disappointed by that. Clean tho, friendly staff when you could find them. "This is a very good hotel within the context of the area and price. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room and lobby were maintained spotless and beds comfortable. There are good restaurants in walkable distance. The zocalo is a few blocks away and there is a great natural foods restaurant nearby called La Botanica, a nice surprise among teaditional.fare. taxi is required to ger ro the beaches but the price is very affordable. "

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. They have free mezcal tasting every night, which I didn’t take advantage of, but seemed very generous. Location is great: few blocks from the center, but away enough to be peaceful. Convenient store across the street. Overall great value for the money. Beware that there is only natural airflow, which was surprisingly ok, but not traditional AC."

"Staying at Casa Vanora was a highlight of our trip to Huatulco. Our ocean view room with a spectacular view of both the sunrise and sunset Well appointed, meticulously clean, comfy bed. We saw whales on 2 occasions form the hotel roof top restaurant! The manger Elio was extremely helpful everthing - transfers, restaurants and spanish lessons! We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!!"
