A little confusion around the breakfast situation, I read on Expedia that you can book a breakfast that will be served in a hamper to your room, when we mentioned this to the guy at check in, he told us that they haven't provided that service for years! Only to read on the guest information sheet supplied in the room that you can book a breakfast that will be provided in a hamper to your room!!!!

Latimer House was easy to find, with parking available on site and well located, communication ahead before arrival was helpful and responed quickly to a question I had. The room was bigger than expected, modern, clean and quiet, check in was simple with clear instructions for the digital locks. We will be returning in the future."

The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.
If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "
