Venture into the leafy wilderness of Middlesex Fells Reservation, where hiking trails wind through forests that feel impossibly remote for being so close to Boston. The Stone Zoo delights with its intimate setting and impressive collection of animals from Arctic foxes to black bears. Whip Hill offers peaceful nature walks with surprising city skyline views that photographers quietly treasure. Sports fans can catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park or try their hand at ice skating at the rink that produced Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan. The glittering Encore Boston Harbor provides entertainment beyond its gaming floor, with restaurants that satisfy even the most discerning palates. For a beach day, nearby Revere Beach offers sandy shores and the nation's oldest public beach promenade.

Club Quarters Hotel Faneuil Hall, Boston
"We stayed at Club quarters hotel faneuile Hall, for my husband's 50th B-day celebration. The hotel itself is well located and quit comfortable. The queen room was spacious and had comfy bed, clean bathr. and quiet overall. Liked the filtered water option to get drinking water. The staff was friendly. We did have a bad breakfast experience. As the menu was limited for having to get this included. One veggie option and all else of Pork meat. So we requested to have our breakfast egg n cheese without any pork substance due to us being allergic. Not even cross continuation is an option. Day 1 we had the avocado/Balsamic, very nice. Day 2, the waitress made sure to check with kitchen staff, egg n cheese no Pork Patty no hashbrowns as they are fried on the same grill as the pork. We waited about 30min and finally as we got the breakfast, first thing we get is the fat pork Patty right inside the sourdough bun. The restaurant wasn't even busy 3 tables to waiter. I was hungry and was so taken back, felt disrespected and could've ended up in the hospital. The waitress apologized, she felt so bad, but not repeat was required. We returned upon checkout all our remainder breakfast tickets. Cut our losses but had delicious breakfast all around the city for the next 4 days. Terrible kichen service. The hotel is right in the center of downtown, so we did nice walks around the city. Did some tours on land and water. We had a good time on the hotel end of our stay."

The Godfrey Hotel Boston
"Great location and service. Everything is walking distance."
Copley Square Hotel, a FOUND Hotel
"The hotel has amazing charm--it's over 100 years old! It was clean and well kept. It's also across the street from a grocery store, a block away from the Prudential Center shops and View Boston, right behind the Boston Public Library, Trinity Church and only a block away from the shops at Newbury St. The location could not have been better. Our room was lovely and clean with high ceilings even if the bathroom was a bit small. The only issue I had was that it was only cleaned once during our four day stay. Luckily, I am a clean person so it wasn't too big of a deal. I would definitely stay here again on return trips."
