"My first impression was the man smoking marijuana in the parking lot. The person at the counter was very polite. The elevator smelled of marijuana was so strong. I get up to the room and noticed some glue-like substance on the nightstand. The remote I wouldn’t dare touch. It hadn’t been cleaned. The bed itself I actually slept on top of the sheets and didn’t even get under the covers. It’s an older hotel and the rooms need a serious refresh. The wood paneling on the sink is all cracked due to the moisture. The knob on the shower I feared was going to come off. The surfaces had that film-like residue on them. You knew they have been wiped down with cleaner but it felt like the water hadn’t been changed in a while. The best part about the whole trip was the man who waited on me at the hotel restaurant for breakfast. His name was Darren. If the whole hotel was like an experience with Darren then it would have been a lovely experience. Darren was so professional and kind. It was very obvious that he takes pride in his job. However I wish Wyndham took as much pride in that facility. Unfortunately they do not. "

"The hotel was pretty clean. Lobby area looks up to date, rooms are not. The beds are not great at all and no comforters just sheets to sleep with. Hot tub was down while we were there so we were very bummed and the pool area has garbage backs hanging on the ceiling which was a little concerning. Typical hotel breakfast but they ran out of waffle batter so we didn't eat much. You get what you pay for so if you are looking for a cheap hotel with no amenities you are good to book here!"

"This hotel does a great job at the basics: my room was clean and everything was in proper working order; the kitchen actually had dishes, pans, and utensils stocked in case I decided to cook; the staff was professional, polite, and helpful; and there are notable reasons to book this hotel over others next time (free use of laundry facilities, is but one example). Nobody will confuse this hotel for a luxury accommodation. But at the same time, you'll get a spacious, well-equipped room at a very competitive price. If you don't absolutely require room service or valets and you might want to take advantage of a full sized frig or make a meal, this would be an excellent choice for your next stay. "
