Learn more about Fort Lee
Gazing across the Hudson from the George Washington Bridge reveals Manhattan's skyline in all its glory. Fort Lee Historic Park brings Revolutionary War history to life while offering spectacular river views that explain why filmmakers once flocked here to birth America's movie industry. The borough's streets buzz with Korean restaurants and shops, creating one of the largest Korean enclaves outside Korea itself. Palisades Interstate Park offers clifftop trails where nature somehow persists despite the urban surroundings. The borough's high-rise apartments create a mini-Manhattan skyline of their own, while down below, family-run restaurants serve authentic international cuisine that draws food enthusiasts from both sides of the river.

Hotel St. James
8/10 Good
"The location of the hotel is excellent only about 5 minutes from Times Square. The room was basic but clean. Spacious enough for 3 of us. There weren’t enough plug sockets that would hold a travel adapter plug so that was a problem. The AC unit was so loud I had to turn it off at night as I couldn’t sleep. We had a nice stay."
Doubletree by Hilton New York Times Square South
10/10 Excellent
"I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 6 months and it has been great on both occasions. Fantastic staff, great location with Madison Square Garden across the block and walkable to all of Midtown. It’s also a 10 minute walk to Hudson Yards and the Javits Centre and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. If you can get an Empire view room, you won’t be disappointed. Also, free cookies on arrival. What’s not to love?"

"Great location, old hotel, crowded. Elevators are always an issue. Loved the location. Rooms could be better."
