Beneath the world's largest cuckoo clock, this 'Little Switzerland of Ohio' blends Swiss heritage with Amish tradition. Horse-drawn buggies clip-clop past Alpine-style buildings while cheese factories offer samples showcasing why this village became Ohio's Swiss cheese center. The Ohio Star Theater celebrates simple living, while the Alpine Hills Historical Museum chronicles these converging cultures. "Staff were nice. It was clean. Biggest disappointment was breakfast. They basically had nothing healthy. They used to have fruit and boiled eggs. Juice machine was broken. Very disappointing compared to prior stays."

"We stayed in the suites, and it was amazing! The rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and the massage chair was great! The staff sent me detailed information beforehand to ensure there were not any glitches. This town is very charming and welcoming. We loved our stay here and we hope to be back soon and stay even longer. Highly recommend Sugarcreek Village Inn!"
Berlin Grande Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a beautiful room on the third floor with great views from the balcony. Breakfast was standard with good variety .We did choose to eat out one day since there are several good breakfast places. Room was clean and for the most part quite. The property was relatively empty when we were there. There are many gathering places with beautiful gardens. Location is close to many things in the area."

Lodging on the Square
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for walking around town. The grounds and room were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was the perfect light breakfast for on the go. The only downfall is no elevator for second floor (not great for older people) and I didn't know that at time of booking. All around a great place to stay for a great price... will definitely be back next year."
The Wallhouse Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This will be our go to hotel anytime we are in Amish Country. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and spotless. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool and hot tub is so nice. The staff was so nice and friendly. Margaret at the front desk went above and beyond for our stay. This hotel is easily located near all the places to see, but it also offers privacy. The view from our balcony was stunning."
