"The hotel reception is a bit tricky to find as it’s tucked behind the restaurant but the staff in the restaurant saw us looking and pointed us in the right direction. We arrived at the hotel before the official check in time and were grateful that our room was ready. The staff on the front desk were really helpful. We had a lovely room over looking the road outside. The room is quite large for a city room. There is a kettle and fresh milk provided along with toiletries in the bathroom. There isn’t a lot of room for hanging clothes, so we lived out a suitcase for 4 days. Some evenings the street music went on till 10:30 but the room was very sound proof. The tv was a bit temperamental in the evening, but this didn’t affect our stay. The location is perfect for a stroll down to the riverfront and a 5-10 minute walk away from Sao Bento train station. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast, if booked the night before it is only €13.95 or on the day it’s €17.95. The selection is quite simple but was very delicious. We also ate an evening meal in the restaurant and this was very nice. The prices were very reasonable and the quality was very good. We would definitely stay in this hotel if we visit Porto again."
