"The Hampton in worked out well for us. We needed a nice business style hotel. Everything was clean, the staff was great, and we appreciated the free buffet breakfast. The refrigerator and microwave in the room were nice to have. There were plates and utensils at the front desk at all hours as well as coffee and water always available. One evening we saw that there were chocolate chip cookies too."

"No check in desk. Keys were in a box, hotels.com forgot send the code. Sink faucets not working, no tissue in the room and no way to get some since there were staff. On-line advertised cooked to order breakfast but nothing on site. Not worth the money spent. Will never go back!"

"Best western was an excellent stay. Center to uc davis...no need o hassle with parking. Left the car at the hotel and walked to have dinner and to the campus. A big plus is that it is small only 2 floors. The front desk were superb. They were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the city and university"
